 Mom picked one of each, but I don't like the basil!

My mom kept most of this week's haul, which gave me a chance to catch up.  The fridge is looking pretty clean now.

If memory serves me correctly, this is about the halfway point of the CSA season.  It's amazing how the time flies by.  I'm not doing as well as I'd like in terms of keeping up with the amount of produce (thanks to my !@#$ job) BUT I have some ideas on how to manage my time better and improve my veggie use.

CSA 2012: Week 12

As usual, since we don't like this variety of basil, we got 2 bunches of scallions.

Last year our CSA started labeling the PYO hot peppers, which was an amazing help when trying to find things or figure out what things are.  A lot of the hot peppers look very similar to each other so you may think you're getting a hot one but it's really more mild, or even worse, the other way around!
